Applicants should also have experience of managing risk in a large multidisciplinary and multi-site organisation, and also of collaborative working with external agencies, such as the Scottish Government, Healthcare Improvement Scotland, and the Independent Sector. Applicants must have highly developed skills in training large groups of staff in the specialist field of risk management, up to Board and Director level, including in the processes for the review, identification and implementation of learning from significant adverse events.Įxperience of working in a healthcare setting, and demonstrable knowledge of NHS function and structure are essential to this role.
